  Our custom design Ancillary Dwelling or Granny Flat 🏡 is just perfect 🤩 it is nestled in our backyard amongst our existing trees, perfect design to optimise space on our odd shaped block and matches seamlessly with our existing home 🏠 this is the most exciting and awesome build we have ever done 😻 Nikita Sertorio is the perfect tiny dwelling designer and Sertorio Homes are all spectacular from the first laying of the pad throughout the whole exhilarating transformation to completion 🥳 PS the Grandchildren are already “it is our new play room Grandma right” 😹😹😹😹😹

  Sertorio has renovated and existing garage and added a bedroom and bathroom to provide us with a beautiful “Granny flat”. Scott consulted and drew up the plans and was professional, answered every phone call and email and has a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the building industry. Phil was the best ever site supervisor, nothing escapes his eagle eye and the finish product is just truly amazing! They were on time with everything. Their contractors were friendly, accommodating and rendered the highest standard of work. Even Jasmine in the office was always ready to assist with our every payment and paperwork needs. Thank you Sertorio, you made a stressful event super pleasant and we will highly recommend anybody to use your company!

  Jake and the team at Sertorio Homes supied a quality build. They listened to what we wanted right from the start. Their price was competitive, without any major price hikes (even through the construction boom - with material increases and major supply issues). All tradesmen used were all high class very experienced tradesmen. Jake was always very responsive throughout the build, and happy to deal with any concerns or issues that came about. We often saw him on site with his big smile amd infectious lauph!

  We have no hesitation in highly recommending Sertorio Home Renovations.From our initial meeting Bruce understood our desire to retain the character of our bungalow in Swanbourne, even though this lead to a long and frustrating process to gain Council approvals.During the build period Bruce kept us up to date with a weekly schedule of works and was always happy to answer any questions we had. His team of contractors were all professional, friendly and reliable. We would like to thank in particular Chris, Kevin, Zoran, Dave, Peter, Mark, Jarrod, Lee and your extended crews.   Jake was my building manager for my project. Jake and his whole team were responsive and professional.For context my house has gone from a 3x1 to a 4x2 with extensive floor plan changes including a relocation of kitchen and laundry as well. From the beginning of the process Scott was helpful and respectful during the quoting and planing process with the ability to manage expectations of what a build like this would be like. All the trades that have been used through out the process have been in partnership with Sertorio Homes and it shows, as they are respectful to my home and the company that they represent. Alana and Jasmine in the office have helped me and guided with the administrative side as well.I would whole heartedly recommend Sertorio Homes for any projects.Thank you again to Jake and his team for making the process as painless as possible especially during these unprecedented times.

  Quality affordable build and on time too.I cannot recommend Sertorio Homes highly enough. Very professional from the first consultation right to hand over. Bruce, Jake and their team, made sure that every stage was scheduled, correctly, showing that they have the experience and expertise to overcome any issues that come up, quickly and without any hassle.   After having consults with several builders decided to go with Sertorio homes for my home extension in Currambine. They did not disappoint, Jake and his team were very professional, reasonably priced and provided excellent service. I added 2 bedrooms, a games room and 2 bathrooms. All was completed whilst we were living here with minimal delays. NO PRICE RISES THROUGHOUT. I have heard many stories of poor building timelines and price rises over the last year and I am so happy to have used Sertorio Homes a quality build with proffessional and excellent contractors. Even excelled with following up minor maintenance tasks at the end. Cannot fault there service and have already recommended them to several friends who are considering building. If you want a quality build thats going to finish on time with minimal changes Sertorio homes is your place.

  From conceptualisation to handover, Bruce and Jake have provided outstanding professional service in the design and construction of our home extension. The entire team at Sertorio Homes, including the trades they engage, focus on a client-centred approach to building, and any thoughts or concerns that arise during planning and the build truly feel heard and understood - which cannot be said for a lot of builders. We were able to remain living in the original house - with two children and two dogs - during the build, and all trades made a conscious effort to minimise disruption. The result of their combined efforts is a beautiful extension to our character home that seemlessly flows from the original house, greatly increasing its appeal and functionality.   Sertorio Homes designed and constructed our recent home extension.   Right from the start we felt confident we had chosen the right company to do our renovations Bruce was amazing he knew what we wanted. As we have no experience in the building trade we were very apprehensive about doing an extension to our house, but felt at ease when we went to the office to view plans and discuss the process.Bruce said how long things would take, he always made sure things were done when they were supposed to be done. All the crew were respectful of us staying in the property while the work went on, they even made temporary barriers for the dog to stay in the back yard.   After a recommendation from a friend, we met with Scott and the team at Sertorio. It was the only quote we got as we were so impressed right from the start.From Scott's ideas and knowledge of all aspects of the renovation, through to the seamless handover to Jake, the initial processes were very smooth. During the project, I cant speak highly enough of the attention to detail, prompt response to every issue that crept up along the way and general 'can do' attitude of Jake.All of the trades that came were respectful of us continuing to live at the property, and very hardworking.   We have just had additions completed to our home to accommodate additional family members moving in and we are very pleased with the finished result. It doesn't have the added on look!From Scott and Nikita's help with the design and plan, Jake our supervisor who was always just a phone call away when we had queries and was very helpful and obliging to our requests and needs.Then there was his whole team of tradies who were always friendly and professional. To name a few there was Kevin, Dave, Jason, Andy, Zoran, Jarod, Mark, Damian and Rob - they were all excellent!Alana the receptionist was also very friendly and helpful with any account queries. Then Bruce who was the overseer of the whole project and team - a professional, friendly supervisor.Everybody was super friendly and mindful that we have our 5 year old grandaughter watching and listening to all the activity going on.Thank you so much for a fantastic result from a professional service.   Right from the first dealings with Sertorio/Modern homes I found it to positive. Scott was very helpful to put our vision into design drawing which my wife and I loved.The level of experienced tradesman that worked on our home was first class.Any issues that arised was quickly rectified buy our site supervisor Jake, as being a FIFO worker I needed someone I could rely on.So a quick thank you to Jake you were helpful through the whole experience of my renovations.The whole team from Sertorio Homes was informative and professional and motivated to provide the home that my wife and I dreamed of.Thank you Brue,Scott,Jake and Alana for everything and I would highly recommend Sertorio Homes as a builder.P.S.   Sertorio Homes turned our run down and old 3 bedroom house into a modern 4 x 2 house inside and out. During the whole renovation process there was no delays and no problems, making the whole job completely non stressful for us.   We first contacted Modern Home Improvers at the end of the Dec 2018 around the Chrismas and the New year time. Despite the short notice, Modern Home Improvers provided us the draft design and the information we need during the holiday season. And by the end of July 2019, our new granny flat is already there in my back yard, Yahoo!When I look back the whole journey of this design and build, plus the existing home renovation project, Modern Home Improvers did extremely well in the following three areas.Time management.Modern Home Improvers provided us realistic expectation on every stage of the project. We knew exactly what we expected to see at what time. It helped us to arrange our life, as well as better managed the fund financially.Professional both Modern Home Improvers employee and tradies.Not much to say, very professional all the way.You are caring for the customer.During this project, we have to live in the existing house; also, we are travelling overseas for a month. Modern Home Improvers was able to cope with all these requirements and gave us the solution to the issues we had.It was a pleasant journey overall. Highly recommend Modern Home Improvers for your home renovation projects.

  Excellent experience with Modern, choosing a home builder can be quite daunting if you are not in the construction trade. Bruce understood our requirements quickly and worked within budget where other builders sent out salespeople or knocked us back. The design for our renovation was also impressive and correct first time which further provided us with the confidence that Modern know what they are doing.Not only were the tradespeople and quality of the work excellent, but the workers themselves regularly said that we had made the right choice, this company is respected by it's employees and tradesmen.The work overall was outstanding in particular the tiling which was the best I have ever seen. All of the trades engaged were top level quality. Moderns worked with us closely through all stages and promptly answered all questions via email.Highly recommended, and thanks Bruce and team.

  We had a great experience with Modern, right from the time we made initial contact a few years ago through to the recent completion of the project. Admittedly the weather was in our favour, but they finished a significant 2nd storey addition very quickly. We decided to stay in the house during the build with our 3 kids (including a newborn). The whole team worked around us, the trades were polite and considerate, not to mention that their attention to detail and level of workmanship could not be faulted. With any renovation, there were always going to be a few issues which came up, but these were all quickly and professionally dealt with. We can’t wait to start enjoying our new space and would happily work with Bruce and his team again.
