Often the smartest move is simply to extend.

Mount Hawthorn

This project entailed developing more living space for dining, kitchen and family room with limited area. However, the use of a parapet wall to the boundary made it all possible. Light and ventilation were important factors; this was created by using Velux skylights along with bifold doors from the family room into the alfresco. Recycled bricks were used in the study nook keeping the 1950s character of this home. En suite and bathroom were also renovated as well as the front verandah redone.
